Pete to perform at the Prince's Trust concert
A concert for the Prince's Trust is to be held at the Royal Albert Hall on November 23rd. Pete, a long term supporter of the charity, has been confirmed as playing! Tickets are available here.
Pete of course appeared (and co produced) at the very first Prince's Trust music show 29 years
ago on July 21 1982 at the Dominion Theatre in London, where he performed with an all star backing band playing Let My Love Open The Door and Slit Skirts as well as non PT songs with the band. Some memorabilia from that night below.

Psychedelic Sundaze
If anyone fancies a visit back to the 60's this Sunday then the Idea Gallery in London is staging 'A trip back to the days of the UFO Club'
with an event of spoken word, poetry and music from those associated with the iconic club. Artists appearing include Michael Horovitz, Adam Horovitz, Evie Salmon, Nigel Waymouth as well as guest DJ's, musicians and performers. Tickets are limited and bound to sell out quickly. The Oval
A few of days ago, on September 18, it was the 40th anniversary of the first time I saw The Who play live at the Oval Cricket Ground in good old South London. The 40 years seem to have flown by and a lots happened in those intervening years and just wanted to take the opportunity to say 'thanks guys'. A couple of bits of memorabilia from that day below. 24 years later we chose the Saturday nearest that date to put on the first convention.

Quadrophenia v's A Clockwork Orange
Picturehouse Cinemas in the UK and film Critic Mark Kermode have teamed up to present the Origins Film season (sponsored by BMW). The series couples movies together that have similar themes but different approaches and Mark Kermode has chosen to link Quadrophenia with A Clockwork Orange. The films will be shown in Picturehouse cinemas nationwide on Oct 10 and 11. More details here
